About us
Karratha Early Learning is a Reggio Emilia inspired learning child care centre. We are positioned in your local area of Baynton West, directly across Baynton West Primary School here in Karratha.
The Reggio Emilia has an innovative and inspiring approach to early childhood education which values the child as strong, capable, resilient and rich with wonder and knowledge. Every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential which drives curiosity and their interest to understand the world and their place within it.
We are passionate about providing your children with the tools they need to be successful in all aspects of their lives. We combine our strong curriculum and a safe, stimulating environment to create meaningful experiences for your child every day. We value the need for your child to have close connections with other families within our local area. The relationships that children form at Karratha Early Learning will continue when your child starts school.

When our son turned 18 months, we thought it would be good for him to socialize in daycare a few days a week. New to town and worried about rumors of centres being full, we toured multiple places, and KEL stood out far beyond the rest. The staff was the point of difference for us, and Sarah really took the time to explain everything and make us feel welcomed. My husband and I both left with the gut feeling that KEL was for us! This is by far the best childcare service my children have ever attended. We can tell that educators are genuinely interested in the children and actively engage with each and everyone with them, they really care for them. They’re always keeping up posted with all types of feedback about our children which is super useful for parents to know and build upon. Children are always busy with all sorts of activities and you can tell that they have had fun during the day, and we love how their play is highly educational. Children always come back with extra bits of knowledge and skills here and there. We have peace of mind when dropping the kids off because we know they are going to love it and be cared for. Can’t praise educators enough for the passion they have for their jobs. We can tell they enjoy their jobs and kids enjoy their time there. Well done.

My LO attends the centre since July 2023, she started at the nursery when she was 9 months old. As a first time parent we had all the possible fears to leave our most precious and vulnerable little thing to the care of someone else. 10 months down the track we are the happiest ever for taking her to Karratha Early Learning, where we met their amazing staff, first at the nursery, then at the toddlers room. Our daughter loves everything and everyone at her childcare centre. She gets very excited every morning when drop off time comes and mentions her little friends and educators at home after being picked up. That makes us know how well looked after she is. She has fun, learns lots, socializes and developes great skills every week. I am still impressed for all the creative activities the lovely staff organize for the kids. My partner and I melt seeing update photos of their activities through the day, as they do so much! For us, the most important skill the staff taught our LO was independent sleep. That improved our bed time routine and we were all happier after she pick that up. Thanks to the patient and caring staff and super attentive manager Sarah for looking after our gorgeous toddler. Can’t miss mentioning the kids get prepared meals by a lovely chef, Miss June, with a good variety of nutrients and flavours. Looking at our daughter having double portion almost every meal, we can tell these must be really yummy. Another thing we love from the centre is the great communication flow from the manager/staff to the families, also the way they encourage families to take part in activities and suggestions to improve the service. We are now expecting our second baby and is already in the waiting list to start at the centre at the end of the year. This is how much we trust they will keep up with the great work.

Moving the whole family nearly 4,000 kms away was hard enough, but the thought of leaving our babies in care of others all day was terrifying. The team at Karratha Early Learning have been amazing and elevated any concerns we had.
